NWS Radar on Mt. Ashland

This week I decided to drive from Mt. Ashland to Dutchman's Peak. Mt. Ashland is the home of this National Weather Service doppler radar and a ski area. Dutchman's Peak is home to one of the few remianing staffed fire lookouts in Oregon.

It's not actually manned at all. You (as in the NWS person) can get into the building but it's fully automated.
